2025–2026 Marion Cook Scholarship Winners

Seattle McRae with BHB Structural Engineers and Ashley Collins with VCBO have won the 2025–2026 Marion Cook Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded by SMPS to an emerging professional as homage to its namesake, Marion Cook.
This scholarship will pay for their SMPS memberships for one year and offer $100 credit toward SMPS Utah monthly program and/or education registration fees, helping her engage with the community. This scholarship is purposed to help those who are strongly interested in an SMPS membership, but do not have the means.
Marion Audry Cook was a long-standing SMPS Utah professional who worked in the A/E/C industry at Colvin Engineers for many years. A leader and mentor who loved her job, Marion served in many capacities on the SMPS Utah Board of Directors, was Utah Chapter President, and helped on many committees. On August 3, 2012, aged 73, Marion passed away after a heroic battle with cancer. Our scholarship is awarded to honor and remember her constant advocacy for educating and mentoring up-and-coming marketing professionals in our industry.
