A jack of all trades
What are the rewards of your job?
Being able to learn new skills and new topics if anything sparks my interest.
What are your challenges?
Adapting to the environment of ideas and techniques always changing.
What has been your most meaningful project?
Being able to do my first qual/resume on my own with no assistance.
How has SMPS membership helped you?
Coming to events even before being a member has opened the door to me in the AEC industry in a new way. Meeting people my age and who have been in the industry for more than a decade has been extremely rewarding with the advice I receive from everyone.
What’s the best career advice you’ve received?
Never burn a bridge early in life, you never know where you will go in your career.
What’s the best career advice you’ve given?
Never give up on something you are passionate about; the right opportunity will come your way. The denies received makes you one step closer to that yes.
What has contributed to your success?
My family and mentors in college help me through my journey.
What's on your bucket list?
Go see Wimbledon or the French Open in person.
What was your childhood dream?
To be an artist.
