How long have you worked at your company?
5 years (in May)
How would you describe your role/job?
My role blends strategy, creativity, and relationship-building. I support our technical and executive teams by helping communicate their expertise clearly and effectively, whether through proposals, branding, or client engagement. No two days look exactly the same, which keeps it interesting.
What are the rewards of your job?
I enjoy helping talented engineers tell their story well. It’s rewarding to see a pursuit come together and know you played a part in positioning the team for success. I also really value the relationships built along the way, both internally and with industry partners.
How long have you been an SMPS member?
5 years (in June or July I think)
What led you to serve on the Board?
SMPS has been such a valuable professional community for me. Serving on the Board felt like a meaningful way to give back, support the chapter’s continued growth, and help create opportunities for other marketers to connect and develop.
How has SMPS membership helped you?
It’s expanded my network, provided practical education, and connected me with others who understand the unique challenges of A/E/C marketing. It’s reassuring to have peers to learn from and collaborate with.
What’s the best career advice you’ve received?
Focus on being reliable and consistent. Talent matters, but people remember who they can count on.
What has contributed to your success?
A willingness to learn, asking questions, and staying adaptable, and being a team player. Our industry is always evolving, and staying curious makes a big difference.
What's on your bucket list?
I’ve always wanted to attend a Red Sox/Yankees game at Fenway Park.
Guilty pleasure: what can you not live without?
Ice Cream… even in Sub-zero temperatures.
