How would you describe your role/job?
I help coordinate proposal efforts and steer strategy in the markets.
What are the rewards of your job?
I really enjoy the problem-solving aspect of my job, and it has the added benefit of also having creative components. It really works well with my personality.
What are your challenges?
Personally, I need to be kinder to myself. Company-wide, I think labor shortage is similar to what others have seen.
What has been your most meaningful project?
It was wonderful to have a debrief with a potential client and they said that the proposal was “beautiful.”
How has SMPS membership helped you?
I have enjoyed meeting people in the industry and learning from the educational sessions.
What’s the best career advice you’ve received?
That’s a tough one, I think making sure you're getting paid what you are worth.

Do what fulfills you, while getting paid what you’re worth.
What has contributed to your success?
My work ethic and curious mind have helped me seek answers and work with my team.
What’s on your bucket list?
More traveling!
What was your childhood dream?
I always wanted to have animals (which I do now), and maybe will add a horse someday.
Guilty pleasure: what can you not live without?
I’m a sucker for good ice cream.
