What are the rewards of your job?
Helping people connect. Understanding the puzzle that is the AEC industry.
What has been your most meaningful project?
That’s impossible to answer! Our involvement in healthcare, higher education, manufacturing and mission critical spaces have produced so many meaningful projects where what we craft as plumbers and welders contributes to the facilities with the purposes to uplift entire communities.
What led you to serve on the Board?
The SMPS Utah community has contributed immensely to my personal and professional growth that I felt like being part of the board was the best way to reciprocate. Programs is challenging but thankfully I don’t do it alone! Shout out to my committee and mentors who keep this boat afloat.
How has SMPS membership helped you?
SMPS has connected me with a community of peers to learn from and grow with. It has expanded my network and opened doors to resources beyond our events.
What’s the best career advice you’ve received?
Sometimes doing nothing is doing something.
What has contributed to your success?
Curiosity. I know it killed the cat, but it’s been great for me!

Coffee & Biscotti on my back deck with my pup, Blue Money.
