How long have you worked in the AEC Industry and how long have you worked at your current company?
26 years in the industry and 10 years here at Ensign.
What are the rewards of your job?
Doing what I enjoy doing - talking to people and assisting various service lines.
What are your challenges?
I have recently resolved my challenge of being a one-person proposal coordinator/business development and marketing logi.
How long have you been an SMPS member?
23 years.
What led you to serve on the Board?
I realize any association/group is always about all of us and not just one of us! Volunteering helps me to help others in ways I sometimes do not realize and that makes me feel warm inside.
How has SMPS membership helped you?
Being a member has given me the benefit of having people to quickly connect with - to troubleshoot a problem, to gain guidance, and sometimes, just to have someone to talk to!
What's the best career advice you've received?
Nothing is permanent!

Never Eat Alone, by Keith Ferrazzi.
What is one of your favorite non-business books?
The Art of Racing in the Rain.

No bucket list for me - each day is a bucket of surprises I can change just by living in the moments of each day!
