How long have you worked at your company?
About 4 years

What are the rewards of your job?  
I have a lot of freedom and support in my job. I have a fantastic boss that is motivated to help me grow in my career. I can bring up new ideas, and my leadership team supports me.  

What are your challenges?  
I am a one-woman show, the only marketing lead in Utah and Idaho. 

How long have you been an SMPS member?  
5 years

What led you to serve on the Board?
I wanted to give back; I have gotten fantastic friendships, connections, and career path advice. I wanted to be a source for someone else.  

How has SMPS membership helped you?  
I have a network of amazing individuals that I get to talk to, ask questions about, and use as resources. I have been able to have some amazing experiences and lifelong friendships that I would never have had if I wasn’t an SMPS member!

What’s the best career advice you’ve received?  
Nothing worth it is ever easy, and nothing easy is worth it.

"6 Types of Working Genius" by Patrick Lencioni

What’s one of your favorite non-business books?  
"Mindhunter" by John Douglas and Mark Olshaker 

What’s on your bucket list?  
I am really into history, so I have always wanted to do many historical tours such as Europe’s castles, Egypt’s pyramids and museums, Germany at Christmas, and the Smithsonian.
