How long have you worked at your company?
Though new to the role of Communications Specialist, I’ve been with Arch Nexus for seven years.
How would you describe your role/job?
I promote Architectural Nexus through involvement in industry associations, media outreach, growing brand visibility, in-house event planning, and industry and client event coordination. I operate the firm’s social media platforms and some of our online communications.
What are the rewards of your job?
I genuinely enjoy each workday because I love the people at Arch Nexus. Our designers and architects are so talented they make it easy to promote their work and to feel enthusiastic about it.
How has SMPS membership helped you?
SMPS has provided an instant, massive circle of experienced, knowledgeable mentors and friends to learn much from.
What has contributed to your success?
Arch Nexus fosters development, encourages growth and provides opportunity; this gave me the confidence to pursue a Master’s degree in Marketing. Being a highly adaptable person helps too.
What’s on your bucket list?
I hope to enjoy a scenic helicopter ride one day.
What was your childhood dream?
I often imagined a career in specialized, high-stakes law enforcement. Think SWAT team, bomb squad, undercover operations, hostage negotiator. I'll admit … I still daydream about it.

I enjoy being captivated by a great TV series, shows highly rated by IMDb.
