How long have you worked at your current company?

How would you describe your role/job?
I wear many hats to make the magic of marketing come to life! I manage and oversee proposals for new and potential projects, provide content writing, design, editing and council for company collateral and communication, and provide event coordination.
What are the rewards of your job?
The chance to be creative, collaborate with others in the company and community, never having the same day twice, and the chance to never stop learning.
How long have you been an SMPS member?
7 years
What led you to serve on the Board?
A good push from my amazing mentor.
How has SMPS membership helped you?
It has helped me to learn, grow, and develop relationships within the AEC industry that I wouldn’t have gotten otherwise.
What's the best career advice you've received?
Always be willing to learn and try something new, you never know how that skill will help you later.
What's on your bucket list?
To travel to the Maldives!
What was your childhood dream?
I always wanted to be an astronaut. I was so serious about that dream that I even went to space camp twice!
Guilty pleasure: what can you not live without?
Dark chocolate and Coke!
