Envision Engineering Celebrates 30 Years in Business
SALT LAKE CITY, UT - April 10, 2024 - Envision Engineering, a Salt Lake City based electrical engineering firm, announces its 30-year anniversary in business. The firm, which began in 1994 with electrical engineer and founder, Jeff Owen, and Eric Spielvogel as first employee and CAD Operator, now boasts over 40 employees and annual revenues that exceed $8 million.
Envision Engineering has provided electrical engineering design for a vast spectrum of buildings throughout Utah and the Intermountain region—from K-12 schools and college campuses across the state, LDS temples, healthcare facilities, commercial buildings, and civic centers to the new Salt Lake City International Airport and more.
"Growing Envision has been an amazing journey of people, projects, and experiences that have been truly inspiring," said Owen. He continued, "The development, progress, and growth Utah has and continues to achieve, has been exciting to be a part of. In its 30-year tenure, the firm's professional emphasis is on innovating and spearheading sustainable, energy-efficient solutions. Utah recognized Envision as the pioneer for the state's first Zero-Energy school—a building that produces as much electricity as it uses in gas and electrical power. The firm has continually produced award-winning work over the years and was most recently honored as an integral part of the design teams for two Utah Construction & Design Magazine award-winning projects in 2023: the historic renovation of the St. George, Utah Temple, and the Waterford Science Center in Salt Lake City.
