How would you describe your role/job?
Creating graphics, managing social media, and assisting with proposals
What are the rewards of your job?
I get to be creative with my work which allows me to have fun while working
What are your challenges?
I am brand new to the AEC industry and there is so much that I don’t fully understand just yet, which makes working on projects a little more difficult.
What has been your most meaningful project?
The very first proposal I did on my own—I’m a hands-on learner, so it helped me get a better understanding of proposals.
How has SMPS membership helped you?
I have learned a lot about the industry through SMPS events and have made some great connections that have validated my experience as a new member of the industry.
What has contributed to your success?
Being open-minded, because it has allowed me to trouble-shoot any difficult situation and encouraged innovation and creativity.
