Join your marketing friends from SMPS for the event of the year, our annual gala! It's a great happening for networking, showing your marketing chops, and enjoying the company of some of the most interesting and charming folks in the AEC community.

Highlights of the event include:

All proceeds from the event will benefit The Other Side Academy. A free raffle ticket will be given for every new, unwrapped winter hat, gloves, socks, or scarf donated. 

The Other Side Academy is a non-profit school that provides on-the-job vocational training, education, and basic life skills training along with long-term housing to former criminals, drug/alcohol abusers, homeless and others who have hit rock bottom. Our school is run by graduates of the program and we are a mutual self-help organization where we foster trial-and-error learning in a community of peers where one can fail safely and learn to improve. We follow an "Each One Teach One" model and believe that when A helps B, A gets better. We train our students in the behaviors, attitudes, and values of healthy living. We run our own vocational training schools that generate revenue so we can be self-reliant and not dependent on government money and so we can offer the program at no cost to those that join us. Participants obtain a minimum of high school equivalency and gain the job and life skills needed to return to their families and communities as decent, law-abiding individuals.
