Come to our EPG round table and learn from our senior panel about the strategies and methods they implemented with their companies.

The Emerging Professionals Group is for SMPS members with less than five years of marketing experience in the AEC industry.
About our panelists:
Kimberly Johnson, CPSM | Kimberly is Principal and Marketing Director at Design West Architects. Kim has served as President of Utah Chapter of SMPS, Co-Chair of Southwest Regional Conferences, and has been named SMPS Utah’s Marketer of the Year. With 21 years of experience in the AEC industry, she’s closed out 500+ proposal efforts utilizing a variety of procedures and is happy to share lessons learned with the EPG group.
Travis Wilson, CPSM | Travis is an Associate Vice President at transportation engineering firm Lochner and leads the marketing and project pursuit efforts for the firm’s West, Midwest, and Aviation groups. Travis has over 16 years of experience in marketing and business development for the AEC industry, both locally and nationally. He is a graduate of Weber State University and is also a Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) through the Society of Marketing Professional Services (SMPS). Travis is active in giving back to the AEC industry through serving on various boards, mentor programs, and speaking engagements.
Stephanie Ray | Stephanie has 25 years of experience in the AEC industry, with 20 of it focused on marketing for architects and engineers. She is the Director of Marketing for Sunrise Engineering, managing the marketing and proposal activities for the regional firm. She is an active member of SMPS and has served as President and Communications Director for the Utah chapter. Stephanie is responsible for creating and implementing proposal and information processes for the marketing team at her firm and is currently developing a proposal close-out process to complement the company’s new CRM.
