About Our Presenter

Matt Rich, CPSM | Business Development, R&O Construction. Matt has focused on business development and marketing for the last 25 years. He works with some incredible people at R&O Construction out of their Salt Lake office where he is constantly helping his team get ready for interviews and presentations. His favorite part of his job is winning a project. His least favorite part is losing. It still hurts EVERY! SINGLE! TIME! He has held multiple board positions for SMPS and in the community including president of the Utah Alliance for Economic Development and is currently serving as the president for SMPS Utah. Matt is a regular speaker on marketing and business development topics. He holds a B.S. in Marketing from the University of Utah and an M.B.A. from UCLA. Matt has been married to his wife Amy for 30 years. They have triplet boys, a daughter (who is Matt’s favorite…but don’t tell the boys), and a mini-golden doodle named Sunny (who thinks she’s the favorite).
